Luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone, GnRH, gonadotropin-releasing hormone, LRH, LRF Endocrinology A decapeptide synthesized by hypothalamic neurons which controls production of ♂ and ♀ sex hormones, and stimulates FSH and LH release in response to CNS stimulation. See Hypothalamus.
