Metastrongylus

(met'ă-stron'jĭ-lŭs),
A genus of nematode lungworms (family Metastrongylidae), the only genus in its subfamily (Metastrongylinae). The four known species are found only in pigs; transmission is by earthworm intermediate hosts.
