Taeniarhynchus
(tē'nē-ă-ring'kŭs),A genus established for the Taenia species having a rudimentary rostellum but lacking the rostellar hooklets typical of Taenia. The best known example is Taeniarhynchus saginatus, but the older name, Taenia saginata, is more commonly used.
