An antiquated 18th- and 19th century term meaning either:
(1) Hyperbilirubinemia.
(2) An ill-defined cluster of symptoms complex consisting of abdominal malaise, headaches, nausea and vomiting, which is attributed to hepatic dysfunction.

It is unused in the working medical parlance.
