brachydactyly

Abnormal shortness of fingers and toes, which was divided in Smith’s Recognizable Patterns of Human Malformation (1997) into type A (a1 to A7), B, C, D and E, and mixed types A1 +B and B + E, each of which has a MIM catalogue number. For most, the defective gene has been identified.
