Clitoral enlargement, hypertrophy which may be congenital—e.g., congenital adrenal hyperplasia or Fraser syndrome—or acquired, due to dyshormonogenesis, affecting adults—e.g, polycystic ovarian syndrome, neurofibromatosis, clitoral cysts, use of anabolic steroids or testosterone supplements, female to male transsexuals; female bodybuilders who use androgens may also have clitoromegaly and increased libido, as may women who use testosterone therapeutically for low libido, to avert osteoporosis, as part of an anti-depressant regimen, etc.
