Coccinia indica

(kŏk-sĭn′ē-ă ĭn-dĭ′kă)
The climbing ivy gourd, used in ayruvedic medicine to treat diabetes mellitus. Ingestion of an extract made from its dried leaves, often mixed with the dried roots of Abroma augusta, lowers blood sugars.
