menu-driven
A feature of software programs that provides a simplified (user-friendly) means of manipulating data used in conjunction with a mouse. In a menu-driven program, a mouse is pointed to a location on the computer’s monitor, a menu is “pulled down” and a command is selected; menu-driven architectures contrast with more unwieldy and often arcane commands of non-menu driven programs, and are an integral part of nearly all modern personal computers.
