1. Deficient in intelligence. No longer in scientific use.
2. Exhibiting a marked lack of intelligent consideration and forethought: a feeble-minded plan doomed to failure.

An older term for:
(1) Mental retardation; or  
(2) Dementia.

While this term is widely used in “poetic” contexts, especially in classic literature, it is not used in the working medical parlance.
