(fil-ag'grin), [MIM*135940]A major protein of the keratohyalin granule, composed mostly of l-histidyl, l-lysyl, and l-arginyl residues (stratum corneum basic proteins). It aggregates keratin intermediate filaments and promotes disulfide bond formation.
