abdominojugular test

A clinical manoeuvre for measuring jugular venous pressure based on distension of the internal jugular vein in response to pressure placed on the abdomen or liver. A positive abdominojugular test correlates with pulmonary capillary wedge pressure, right ventricular pressure and left ventricular ejection fraction.
