(hī'pĕr-ē'ō-sin-ō-fil'ē-ă),
A greater degree of abnormal increase in the number of eosinophilic granulocytes in the circulating blood or the tissues; for example, in diseases where the degree of eosinophilia usually ranges from 10-30%, an increase to 50% or 60% (or more) might be regarded as hypereosinophilia.
