a chemical element, atomic number 36, atomic weight 83.80. (See Appendix 6.)
krypton 81m an unstable radioactive isotope of krypton having a half-life of 13 seconds and emitting gamma rays. It is used in pulmonary ventilation studies to evaluate regional function.
