labia

The four lips of the female genitalia. The inner pair, the labia minora, surround the entrance to the vagina and the external opening of the urine tube (URETHRA) and join at the front to form a hood over the front of the head of the clitoris. The outer pair, the labia majora, are long, well-padded folds, containing muscle and fibro-fatty tissue, and covered with hair. They are normally closed and conceal the rest of the genitalia.
