lobeline
An alkaloid found in Indian tobacco (Lobelia inflata) and other Lobelia species which has been used to manage tobacco and drug addictions, in part by acting as a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VAMT2) ligand, increasing or decreasing dopamine release (depending on the receptor to which it binds).
