[thi-eth″il-per´ah-zēn]a phenothiazine derivative with antihistaminic effects, used in the form of the malate and maleate salts as an antiemetic and antinauseant, particularly to treat nausea and vomiting associated with surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or toxins; administered orally, rectally, and intramuscularly.
