When severe, results in decomposition of movement, wherein complex motor acts are performed in a series of isolated movements; caused by cerebellar disorders.

A severe movement disorder due to faulty coordination of groups of muscles normally acting in conjunction. Asynergia involves the breaking down of movements into their component parts so that movements become jerky and sequential.
