(krĭs″ă-rō′bĭn) [Gr. chrysos, gold, + Brazilian araraba, bark]A mixture of neutral principles obtained from goa powder, which is deposited in the wood of Araroba, a leguminous tree of South America. It is used topically as an ointment for treatment of certain skin disorders. It promotes the growth of skin tumors in laboratory animals.
