Treatment of disease by means of the causal agent or a product of the same disease; or treatment of a diseased organ by an extract of a similar organ from a healthy animal.

Homeopathy
A format of homeopathy in which the remedy is chosen based on identifying the offending substance that is thought to cause a set of symptoms in a patient; isopathy is thought to be effective in only about 1/3 of cases, as it ignores a person’s individual constitution.
