oleoresin

 [o″le-o-rez´in]
1. a natural combination of a resin and a volatile oil, such as exudes from pines, etc.
2. a compound extracted from a drug, containing both volatile oil and resin, by percolation with a volatile solvent, such as acetone, alcohol, or ether, and removal of the solvent.
