A UK term used to describe a shadow commissioning consortium which has successfully applied to the British government’s GP consortia Pathfinder Programme. To become a pathfinder, the consortium must demonstrate progress in particular areas like GP leadership and support, local authority engagement and an ability to contribute to the delivery of the local QIPP agenda.
